Chambers Global 2022 Rankings

Chambers and Partners  have given us and more specifically our Managing Partner Nick Cruz a mention in dispatches for the Chambers Global Rankings 2022. It is often rewarding to see our hard work being noticed and the work of colleagues too especially in Gibraltar.

But what do they mean to the person researching for legal firms and people?

What are the Chambers Rankings?

Law firms and individual lawyers are ranked in bands from 1 (highest) to 6 (lowest). Being ranked in any band is a significant achievement for a firm or individual and the qualities on which rankings are assessed include:

  • Technical legal ability
  • Professional conduct
  • Client service
  • Commercial astuteness
  • Diligence
  • Commitment
  • Other qualities most valued by the client (for further description of these please see methodology above)

Nick Cruz has been ranked at Band 2 which is fantastic news for us all. The actual quote from the rankings is:

Clients value Nicholas Cruz ‘s robust advocacy style and his pragmatic approach. “He has a can-do attitude and will roll his sleeves up and get on with the job,” notes one source. “He is an experienced, battle-hardened advocate who knows the court system like the back of his hand,” states another interviewee. Nicholas Cruz runs his own firm, Cruzlaw LLP, and acts on employment disputes, trusts cases and a wider range of commercial litigation.
