WC Rugby 2022
Far be it from Cruzlaw to be frivolous BUT it is a well known fact that Nick (Cruz) played rugby, man and boy until it became longer to recover than it took for the next match to arrive. This however has far from dented his love of the game so it comes as no surprise that on receiving information on the RWC in October 2022 I have to get the details out there.
Now non-rugby fans will be forgiven for thinking that it is a bit odd writing about it a full 17 months before the first game BUT it was due to start this year and no points for guessing why it isn’t happening. So….
The news:
- It is being played in New Zealand between 8 October and the 12 November 2022.
- The matches will take place in Auckland and Whangarei (pronounced “fangereye” a soft “g” btw.)
- The 3/4th place game AND the final are on the 12th November both at Eden Park in Auckland.

- SUNDAY 9 OCTOBER WALES V FINAL QUALIFIER WINNER
- SATURDAY, 15 OCTOBER: FINAL QUALIFIER WINNER V AUSTRALIA
- SATURDAY 15 OCTOBER USA V ASIA 1
- SATURDAY 15 OCTOBER FRANCE V ENGLAND
- SUNDAY, 16 OCTOBER EUROPE 1 V CANADA
